Characters: Stratei

Stratei was one of the older students at the Imperial Academy, where they are trained to become part of the military. Stratei rescued Iva when a bio-monster attacked him during a training mission. It was Stratei who explained to Iva that he was not to blame for his father's death. Instead, it was the Dragon of Destruction and its rider who killed him and so many other Imperials.
When the older students were sent into the Arad desert to retrieve "valuable research material", rumours began to spread that the objective of this mission was to retrieve the Dragon of Destruction and its rider. Upon hearing this news, Iva sneaked onboard Stratei's ship, hoping to see the dragon with his own eyes.

Stratei wasn't happy when he discovered Iva when they were already in the air, but he couldn't turn back. He decided to give his armour to Iva, since Iva didn't seem that strong. When the Wormriders attacked the squadron, Stratei let Iva take the controls of the ship. He soon realized Iva seemed to know where the bio-monsters were coming from, before they were even in visual range. When he asked Iva how he spotted the bio-monsters so quickly, Iva couldn't explain.
Shortly after the battle with the Wormriders, Lagi and Orta attacked the squadron. The ships were defenceless against the dragon, and had no chance to escape. Eventually, only Iva and Stratei's ship remained, and the dragon flew by them, launching one well-aimed laser at their ship. Although Iva survived, Stratei was found dead by the Seekers when they found the wreckage. After killing his father, Lagi and Orta had now killed his best friend...
